ST Electronics Completes Liquidation Of Australian Subsidiary, Ripple Systems Pty Limited

Singapore, 26 September 2009 — Singapore Technologies Electronics (ST Electronics) today announced the completion of the voluntary liquidation of Ripple Systems Pty Limited (Ripple Systems). This follows an earlier announcement on 17 November 2008. Following the liquidation, Ripple Systems ceases to be a wholly-owned subsidiary of ST Electronics.

The liquidation of Ripple Systems is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of ST Engineering for the current financial year.
