Archive News in Year 2009April 2009Antycip Simulation Presents Latest Modelling & Simulation Innovations At ITEC 2009 Oxford, United Kingdom, 28 April, 2009 — Antycip Simulation Ltd will be participating in ITEC 2009 (International Training and Education Conference) with its partners VT MÄK, the DiSTI Corporation, JRM Technologies, TerraSim Inc and Mersive Technologies to demonstrate their latest innovations in modelling and simulation. Antycip Simulation is a subsidiary of ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd. Antycip Simulation, the European leader for the provision of independent COTS software, integrated projection and display systems and engineering services, will present its latest solutions for realtime simulation and training at ITEC - Booth C130, Brussels Expo Centre in Brussels, Belgium from the 12 to 14 May 2009. Technical demonstrations from Antycip Simulation at ITEC will include:
The ITEC Innovation Showcase will include Antycip Simulation’s demonstration on CGFs (Computer Generated Forces) and high fidelity models. Visitors will be able to view Antycip Simulation’s innovative solution to simulate higher fidelity models in CGF applications using VT MÄK’s VR-Forces. The innovation showcase will highlight how new COTS techniques can scale up and broaden the capabilities of CGF based solutions for air, land and naval applications.
Antycip Simulation will also be sharing their expertise at ITEC related conferences. Its Technical Director - Alun Evans, will share insights on terrain generation and database re-use in modelling and simulation at the main conference. He will discuss the concepts of terrain agility and terrain re-usability and will focus on terrain databases generation paradigms and source data availability and use. Brian Spaulding, Head of Research and Development from VT MÄK, a sister company of Antycip Simulation, will also present a case on an investigation on the implementation of an enterprise terrain architecture for realtime simulation.
