ST Engineering renames iDirect Inc. to VT iDirect Inc

Singapore, 10 June 2008 — Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that it has renamed iDirect, Inc., its US satellite communications company. iDirect, a world leader in satellite-based IP communications technology, has been renamed VT iDirect, Inc (VT iDirect). VT iDirect (is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ST Engineering’s US subsidiary, VT Systems, Inc (VT Systems), through Vision Technologies Electronics, Inc.

The renaming of iDirect, Inc. to VT iDirect, Inc serves to better align the company as part of the VT Systems group and in so doing capitalise on the brand equity of the group. Through VT Systems, VT iDirect has made recent inroads into the government services in the US. VT iDirect will continue to expand its market reach through its network of related companies of the group in the Americas and Europe and through its sister company, iDirect Asia Pte. Ltd, set up in Singapore in April this year.
