GTF is a venture fund created by Kazakhstan’s National Innovation Fund and provides start-up capital to new companies that demonstrate a potential in creating new technologies or the opening of new markets for Kazakhstan. STEE-T&S holds a 51% stake in MERITS Technologies and GTF holds the remaining 49%. The set up of MERITS Technologies is not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of ST Engineering for the current financial year.
