iDirect Appoints Chris Burdick To Lead
Global Product Management

Singapore, 12 February 2008 — Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited’s (ST Electronics) US satellite communication company, iDirect Inc. (iDirect) has promoted Chris Burdick to Vice President of Product Management.  Burdick joins iDirect’s senior leadership to drive the strategic development and delivery of the company’s products and solutions.  With this key appointment, iDirect aims to broaden its product portfolio, extending its role as a leading innovator and capitalising on the rising global adoption of satellite IP communications.

Burdick was the lead architect and Director of Development for iDirect’s iVantage, a breakthrough network management system that redefined how service providers manage increasingly complex satellite networks.  He has been instrumental in iDirect’s rapid growth and success over the last seven years, playing key roles in the vision, definition, design and development of iDirect’s award winning iNFINITI Platform.  In his new position, Burdick will strengthen iDirect’s product management resources and collaborate closely with partners around the world to address their business challenges and bring new innovations to market.
