Latest NewsJune 2007ST Electronics Launches Ultra Compact And Low Cost Singapore, 19 June 2007 — Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited’s (ST Electronics) satellite business unit launches its next generation 2-watt, 5-watt, 10-watt C-Band and 8-watt Ku-Band Agilis Block Up-Converters (BUC) at the CommunicAsia 2007 exhibition. Designed and manufactured with superior performance specifications, these BUCs are robust and yet low cost, being able to work reliably under very harsh. They are the smallest and lightest BUCs one can find in the market as they are ultra compact in size. Installation is a breeze for these BUCs as they can be mounted directly on the antenna feedhorn, eliminating the need for interconnecting cables. This reduces the complexity and cost of the installation tremendously giving the system integrator and end user a big cost saving. The BUCs are suitable for both data and voice communication in different modulation formats including BPSK, QPSK, QAM and FM.
