ST Electronics Completes Divestment Of Associated Company, ECS Holdings Limited

Singapore, 30 October 2007 — Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited (ST Electronics) today announced, as a follow up to an earlier announcement on 8 August 2007, that pursuant to the fulfilment of all conditions precedent, ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) Pte. Ltd. (STEE-InfoSoft) has completed the divestment of its 75,840,978 ordinary shares representing 20.76% of ECS Holdings Limited’s (ECS) issued share capital, to VST Holdings Limited (VST). The ECS Shares are sold to VST at a sale price of S$0.668 per share, for an aggregate of S$50.7 million.  STEE-InfoSoft is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ST Electronics.

Consequent to this divestment, ECS ceases to be an associated company of STEE-InfoSoft.
