1) COBALT ST3130 - Rugged Light Console
The COBALT ST3130 Rugged Light Console system utilises light material and structure,
and the latest commercial-off-the-shelf electronics technology to provide
multi-functional interactive man-machine interface for operators. The system
is airborne-ready and is also suitable for light vehicles or vessels, enabling
users the flexibility to use industry standard or customised application
software to realise their functionality over a range of command and control
applications. Its compact size is suitable for small cabin environments while
the modular construction makes for ease of installation in confined spaces.
The wide-screen, superfine colour LCD display is suited for 2-in-1 screen
display, minimising the use of premium space in any compact environment.
2) ST2800 Shipboard Integrated Communications System
(SICS)
The SuperneTTM ST2800 Shipboard Integrated Communication System (SICS) meets
the mission-critical needs of today's Navies. The state-of-the-art SICS integrates
a variety of communication systems - radio, public address/alarm, PABX, telephones,
recorder, data terminals and Satcoms, to provide voice and data services from
fixed and wireless intelligent user terminals. The compact and light-weight
wireless terminals allow operators the convenience to roam freely while in
constant communications. The feature-rich system is not only designed for ease
of operation, but also ensures high survivability and availability due to its
distributed and fault-tolerant architecture. The SICS allows the interoperability
of radios in different bands of frequencies. This feature enables different
agencies to interoperate among one another.
Based on Voice over IP (VoIP) and Radio over IP (RoIP) technologies, the SICS
is easily scalable, modular and expandable. It can be easily configured or
customised to offer the most cost-effective solution to fulfill the communication
needs of small, medium and large naval platforms.
3) Nemis (Cooled Handheld Thermal Imager)
NEMIS is a true state-of-the-art third generation thermal imaging camera, using
the cooled focal plane array (FPA) technology. It offers compactness with
performance unmatched in its class.
Attention to ergonomic details and operating performance have resulted in a thermal imaging camera that offers cost effective solution to both military and para-military customers. The NEMIS can detect human sized targets at up to 1800m away.
4) Ship Handling Simulator (SHS)
The STTS Ship Handling Simulator (SHS) imparts comprehensive training experience
that is close to real time and at all levels of competencies, in handling
ships in the areas of navigation, manoeuvring and emergency situations under
various formations and environmental conditions. Trainees will be able to
gain vital knowledge, both individually and as part of the team, in understanding
the effects on the behaviour of the ship in relation to wind, current, shallow
water, banks and other external conditions .
This capability allows trainees to further understand the importance of thorough
planning for a passage in manoeuvring, anchoring, coming alongside and casting
off from a berth in a crowded harbour. In addition, trainees gain deeper insights
to efficient bridge procedures during watch-keeping and ship handling in routine
and operational scenarios.
5) C2 System (C2S)
This is a Command and Control system that provides a consolidated geographical
situational picture to enable better decision-making for commanders. It also
interfaces to various sensor systems. It consists of an Alphanumeric Display
(AD), Graphical Display (GD) and a touch screen panel. C2S also incorporates
a Multi-sensor Data Fusion Engine which is implemented as an Embedded System
(in PCI form factor) for optimum performance. It correlates and fuses information
from multiple sensor systems to enhance situational awareness and provide
better quality data for decision-making.
