SINGAPORE, 3 November 2004 — Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited (ST Electronics) has formed a strategic partnership to provide training, education, management and consultancy services to the marine, land and aerospace industries in Brunei Darussalam. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between ST Electronics’ subsidiary, ST Training & Education Pte Ltd (STET), and the Royal Brunei Technical Services (RBTS), a government owned company that provides procurement services for the armed forces, police and security services in Brunei.
“The strategic alliance between RBTS and STET will initially cater for the operational needs of the Royal Brunei Navy's officers and personnel and in time, the same services will be extended to other services such as infantry, air force and support forces.”
